BobbiBrooke Jewellery started as a small passion of mine to make use of my grandmother's button collection. After she passed away, one of my cousins and I split her collection of buttons and mine sat in the jar they came in on a shelf in the basement and would only come out when I felt melancholy. All that changed when my youngest cousin graduated from high school. I felt that I should pass along some of these buttons to the rest of our family but in another form. Bursting with creativity I found myself creating bracelets and necklaces for my family to keep and cherish.
Several people mentioned that I should sell the jewellery I made but I didn't feel right making profit from these buttons. I visited several local antique shops and purchased a few large boxes of mixed antique buttons and that is where my adventure began........Since the inception, I have been inspired to use other items to create with. These usually include used items no one wants..Then I turn them into items everyone must have!
